Venezuela Rocked by Twin Quakes!

On Wednesday, Venezuela was struck by powerful back-to-back earthquakes, generating widespread panic and causing buildings to collapse in the capital city of Caracas. The US Geological Survey reported the initial earthquake registered a magnitude of 7.1, with its epicenter near Morón along the Caribbean coast.

Minutes later, an even larger 7.5-magnitude earthquake occurred, also with an epicenter near Morón. Social media showed chaotic scenes of people panicking at an airport close to Caracas. Following the tremors, a tsunami advisory was issued, warning of potential hazardous waves along coastlines within 300 kilometers of the earthquake's origin.
