Head-on Crash Kills Two, Injures Three in Unnao

A devastating head-on collision on the Miyaganj-Safipur road near Gauri village in Unnao late Monday claimed the lives of two individuals and left a woman and her two children critically injured.
The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Chhote Lal from Lalta Kheda village and 35-year-old Basant from Udsah village. Chhote Lal was traveling with his sister-in-law, Malti, and her two young children, Krishna and Naina, heading to a family birthday celebration.
Their motorcycle collided with Basant's bike. The impact threw all individuals from their vehicles, causing severe injuries to Malti and the children. Passers-by and another motorcyclist assisted in rushing the injured to the Safipur community health centre.
Doctors pronounced Chhote Lal dead at the health centre. Malti and the children, along with Basant, were referred to the district hospital in critical condition. Sadly, Basant succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
Family members revealed that Chhote Lal worked as a laborer in Bengaluru and had recently returned home. Basant was employed in a cement equipment manufacturing factory in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Police have taken custody of the bodies for post-mortem examination.
