Two teenagers, identified as 17-year-old Chrystobal Hernandez and 19-year-old Brayan Negrete, lost their lives in a devastating car accident on Sunday, March 8th. The incident occurred in Lake County, Florida, on County Road 565. Negrete was reportedly driving a 2018 Dodge Challenger southbound when he lost control of the vehicle.
The car veered off the road, collided with several trees, and subsequently caught fire. Both teens succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Family members indicated that the pair had been at a party prior to the crash. Hernandez's brother described the victims as inseparable best friends who always looked out for one another.
A vigil took place on Sunday at the location of the crash. Crosses bearing the names of Chrystobal Hernandez and Brayan Negrete were placed at the site. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision is currently ongoing, with authorities yet to release further details.
