Twin sisters, Scarlett and Olivia Bywood, aged 13, experienced a terrifying ordeal when they were given a vape apparently laced with MDMA and spice. The incident occurred on April 29th after the girls met a group of teenagers at a local park. Within ten minutes of using the vape, both girls collapsed, with one exhibiting severe symptoms including foaming at the mouth.
Bystanders discovered the unconscious twins and immediately called for an ambulance. At Hull Royal Infirmary, doctors confirmed the presence of MDMA and spice in their blood. The girls remained unconscious for approximately six hours before regaining consciousness. Their mother expressed devastation, stating the twins would not have survived if they had not been found promptly.
Following the incident, the twins were discharged from the hospital the next morning. Their mother has pledged to report the matter to the police and is now issuing a strong warning to other parents about the critical dangers associated with vaping and the risks of accepting vapes from unknown sources. She believes the experience will prevent her daughters from ever using a vape again.
