A devastating hit-and-run incident in Texas has left a 39-year-old mother of two fighting for her life. Lolita Moore suffered an internal decapitation, an extremely rare and severe injury where her skull separated from her spinal column, following a collision on March 12. Miraculously, she survived the initial impact, which also caused multiple bone fractures and bleeding in her brain.
Moore was struck by an unknown vehicle after falling into the road near FM 1960 and Cypress Station Road. The driver fled the scene. Authorities are searching for a black Honda CR-V in connection with the crash. Her family has launched a GoFundMe to assist with her extensive recovery, which will require a feeding tube, halo device, and tracheostomy, among other treatments.
