A 19-year-old woman tragically lost her life due to serious neck injuries sustained in an attack by her family dog. Jamie-Lea Biscoe was discovered by her father in a bedroom at her home in Leaden Roding, near Great Dunmow, Essex, on April 10th.
Paramedics attended the scene but were unable to save the teenager. A post-mortem examination confirmed that the cause of death was the severe neck injuries. The dog involved, believed to be a lurcher-cross, was taken by police for breed identification tests.
