21 Mar
Summary
- Teenager dies 16 days after horrific crash on Palm Beach Road.
- Two SUV drivers allegedly ran over victims after bike crash.
- Case transformed into culpable homicide with driver investigations.

A 17-year-old girl, Harman Kaur, succumbed to her injuries on March 19, sixteen days after a devastating late-night crash on Palm Beach Road. The incident, which occurred around 3 am on March 3 near Sanpada, initially resulted in the on-the-spot death of her 24-year-old friend, Prashant Jamdade.
Reports indicate the pair were returning from Holika Dahan celebrations when their motorcycle allegedly skidded, causing them to be thrown onto the road. Investigations suggest that two SUVs driving behind subsequently ran over the victims. Forensic evidence, including blood stains found on the vehicles' underbodies, led to the detention of the SUV drivers, identified as Sagar Sanda, 23, and Krishna Ravaria, 20.
Harman Kaur sustained critical injuries, including severe head and limb trauma, with doctors noting her legs were crushed by a vehicle. Originally treated as a hit-and-run, the case has been reclassified as culpable homicide, with charges expected to be filed in Belapur court.
