A devastating incident occurred on Khadgaon Road under Wadi police station limits, where a Class 12 student reportedly died by suicide at her home. The student had appeared for her Physics examination earlier on the day of the incident.
According to preliminary police reports, the deceased returned home around 3:30 PM following the examination. Her brother, who was present at the time, briefly stepped out. It was during this short period that the student allegedly used a dupatta to hang herself from an iron window grill.
Tragically, her brother discovered her unresponsive when he returned to the residence. The exact motive behind this extreme step has not yet been determined. Wadi police have registered a case of accidental death and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
