Tragic House Fire Claims Young Life, Injures Mother and Sister

A devastating fire erupted in a home in Gopalpur village, Sitapur district, on Sunday morning, resulting in the tragic death of a 10-year-old boy. His mother and teenage sister also suffered serious burn injuries during the incident.
The fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, originating from the home's electricity meter around 6 am. While the father was outside at their shop, the mother, daughter, and younger son were inside. The situation escalated rapidly when petrol and diesel stored in cans inside the house caught fire.
Tragically, the young boy, Krishna alias Kanhaiya, who was asleep, was trapped and could not be saved. His mother, Gauri (40), and sister, Kajal (17), sustained severe burns as they attempted a rescue.
Emergency services, led by Mishrikh inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh, arrived promptly. The injured were transported to a local health center and subsequently referred to Sitapur district hospital for further treatment.
