Scott Water Advisory: Boil Until Further Notice
25 Jun
Summary
- A boil water alert is active for Scott residents south of Van Lanen Road.
- Loss of water pressure on June 24 introduced potential bacteria.
- Water quality remains unknown until four samples are verified safe.

Town officials in Scott issued a boil water advisory for residents south of Van Lanen Road on June 25, 2026. The alert was prompted by a loss of water pressure within the municipal system, reported to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on June 24, 2026. This pressure loss creates a risk of bacteria entering the water supply.
While water system pressure has since been restored, the safety of the water is not yet confirmed. Four water samples are currently being collected and tested. Residents are advised to use boiled or bottled water for all drinking and cooking purposes until official notification that the water is safe. The water remains suitable for washing and flushing.
