Winter Weather Closes Schools Across Region

As of Tuesday, numerous school districts throughout the region have announced closures or transitioned to virtual learning. This decision comes as a response to prevailing winter weather conditions expected to impact travel and safety.
In Montgomery County, several districts, including Dayton Public Schools, Huber Heights City Schools, and Kettering City Schools, have opted for closures. Similarly, Greene County experienced widespread disruptions, with Beavercreek City Schools, Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools, and Fairborn City Schools among those closed.
Miami County schools are also affected, with Tipp City Schools implementing an 'Online Learning Day.' Troy City Schools and Covington Exempted Village Schools are closed but will conduct remote learning. Piqua City Schools, Milton Union Schools, Newton Local Schools, and Bradford Schools are also closed for the day.
