Firefighters bravely entered the burning structure and successfully rescued the two individuals. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, both victims were transported to Novant Rowan Regional Hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. The Salisbury Fire Department received assistance from multiple other departments during the response; thankfully, no firefighters were reported injured.
