Drunk Passenger Causes Ryanair Flight Chaos
16 Feb
Summary
- A drunk passenger's disruptive behavior forced a Ryanair flight to stop.
- Spanish police intervened to remove the passenger from the plane.
- Another incident involved a drunk passenger causing delays for a different flight.

A Ryanair flight bound for Ibiza from Madrid experienced a two-hour delay on February 12th due to a drunken passenger's disruptive behavior. The man refused to comply with cabin crew instructions and caused significant disturbance onboard.
Footage captured the passenger shouting at fellow travelers and becoming increasingly agitated. Despite attempts by crew and other passengers to de-escalate the situation, the man's actions escalated, leading to the flight being halted.
Spanish police were summoned to the aircraft to escort the intoxicated individual off the plane, resulting in the flight having to reverse on the runway. This incident follows a similar event in November 2025 where an intoxicated British passenger on a Ryanair flight to Bristol had to be restrained by police.
