The final report, released on December 11, determined that no criminal acts were involved, officially closing the case. The man was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being found unresponsive after riding the Stardust Racers.
An autopsy previously revealed that the man died from multiple blunt impact injuries, with his death officially ruled an accident. His girlfriend reported that the safety bar appeared to be too low and required multiple attempts to secure. She described him partially coming out of his seat and hitting his head during the ride.
Investigators found that ride employees followed their procedures and did not act carelessly. Considering all evidence, including witness statements and medical examiner findings, the death was deemed accidental.
