Rajasthan's government is addressing a critical public safety issue by identifying 4,276 unsafe buildings across its urban centers. The Urban Development and Housing department confirmed that nearly 200 relatively modern structures without heritage value have already been razed.
The primary concern now is evaluating the historical significance of the remaining unsafe buildings. Notices have been issued to property owners, and a thorough assessment will determine if these structures can be preserved or must be demolished to prevent potential harm.
