A fatal accident occurred on Sohna Road in Gurgaon on Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old playschool caretaker. Prem Lata, a resident of Bhim Nagar, was hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road near the Air Force Station.
The incident took place around 11:30 am as she was heading towards Canara Bank. The motorcyclist, who remains unidentified, struck her with considerable force, causing severe injuries. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly, doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.
Authorities have registered a case against the unknown motorcyclist under relevant sections of the law, including causing death by negligence and rash driving. Police are actively investigating to identify and apprehend the rider responsible for the fatal collision.
