Bus Blockade: Justice for Teen Driver After Fatal Crash

Hundreds of employees heading to work in the Pithampur industrial area were stranded for nearly four hours on Saturday morning. Residents blocked staff buses of a truck manufacturing company, demanding justice for a 17-year-old girl who died following a road accident earlier in the week. The protest intensified after the teenager succumbed to her injuries on Friday evening.

Revenue and police officials intervened and initiated talks between the aggrieved family, community representatives, and the transport company. Following prolonged negotiations, the company agreed to provide a permanent job to the victim's elder sister, reimburse all medical expenses incurred during her treatment, and extend financial assistance to the family. The settlement led to the withdrawal of the protest.
