Eyewitnesses on social media reported seeing the aircraft "spinning out" and "falling from the sky" before it crash-landed in a nearby field. Emergency services, including firefighters and an air ambulance, were quickly dispatched to the scene around 1:45 pm.
Fortunately, the pilot was able to safely land the helicopter and free himself from the aircraft. There have been no reports of any injuries sustained during the incident. The cause of the helicopter's technical issues is still under investigation by the relevant authorities.
