On Friday, September 11, American Airlines Flight AA1779, en route from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to Miami International Airport, experienced a significant passenger disturbance. A female passenger in seat 9D reportedly removed all her clothing and engaged in indecent behavior, observed by other passengers. Flight attendants alerted the cockpit, and an ACARS message was sent to airline operations requesting law enforcement meet the aircraft upon arrival.
