The boat was en route to the Ad Dimaniyat Islands, a popular diving and snorkeling spot, when it overturned at 9 AM. A total of 25 French tourists, along with a tour guide and the captain, were on board. While three tourists lost their lives, two others suffered minor injuries and were treated by emergency services.
Investigations into the exact cause of the capsizing are underway, with authorities examining the circumstances that led to the vessel overturning. The sea conditions had reportedly been rough for several days prior to the incident. Support is being provided to the survivors and the families affected by this unfortunate event.
