Civil Police confirmed that Tree was among six fatalities resulting from a mid-air collision between two helicopters. The accident occurred in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood.
Five individuals lost their lives in one helicopter, while the pilot of the second aircraft was the sole occupant and also perished. Tree, who was on his The World's First World Tour, had recently performed in São Paulo and was scheduled for a show in Lisbon on July 1.
