Emergency services responded to a partial building collapse on King Street in Oldham this afternoon. The structure gave way unexpectedly, prompting a swift response from police, firefighters, and paramedics.
At least three individuals sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Prior to the arrival of the fire service, five people were able to self-evacuate from the affected building.
Crews worked to make the scene safe, and several road closures were implemented in the town centre. The reason behind the structural failure is not yet determined and remains under investigation.
