The incident occurred around 0400 GMT, with initial investigations suggesting the vehicle left the road before overturning. This devastating crash resulted in eight other individuals sustaining serious injuries.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene. The motorway was subsequently closed in both directions to facilitate rescue operations and the subsequent investigation into the cause of the accident. The coach had departed from Mailand.
