The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched an investigation into an alleged stabbing of an Indian captain by his Omani co-pilot aboard a Flydubai flight on September 30. The alleged assault occurred inside the cockpit of Flydubai flight FZ1073, which was en route from Dubai with 174 passengers and six crew members. The co-pilot reportedly attacked the Indian captain with a knife, inflicting serious wounds. Passengers and crew members acted quickly to restrain the co-pilot.
