Chaos erupted at Kempegowda International Airport as passengers protested a private airline's alleged gross mismanagement that led to travel disruptions for two consecutive days. The flight, scheduled for Kathmandu, was diverted twice, first returning to Bengaluru without landing and subsequently diverted to Lucknow.
Passengers reported being held inside the aircraft for extended periods without clear information, leading to exhaustion and distress. Following the second diversion, travelers staged a protest, demanding accountability and compensation from the airline for their ruined Nepal trip and incurred financial losses. The disruption reportedly affected over 40 Kannada-speaking travelers.
