A devastating car accident on Sunday claimed the life of LaDonna Craig, a captain for the No Coast Roller Derby team in Lincoln, Nebraska. The incident occurred during a severe winter storm that brought whiteout conditions to the region.
Craig, known in the roller derby circuit as 'Stormsteris,' was traveling west on Highway 34 near Malcolm when she lost control of her vehicle. Her car entered the eastbound lanes and collided with an oncoming Ford F-150. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
