A devastating road accident in Mumbai's Mahim area resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man. The incident occurred late on Tuesday night when a dumper truck collided with the scooter he was riding near Raheja Hospital. The victim, identified as Ganesh Mudaliyar, resided in Dharavi. He had recently withdrawn from his studies and was employed at a clothing store in Sewri to earn a living.
Following the collision, Mudaliyar sustained severe injuries. He was promptly transported to Sion Hospital by concerned bystanders. Unfortunately, medical professionals at the hospital declared him deceased. The Mahim police have initiated legal proceedings, registering a First Information Report (FIR) against the dumper driver, Dharmendra Prajapati, under pertinent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
