Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Northeast Delhi

On the night of November 2, 2025, a tragic road accident occurred in northeast Delhi's Sonia Vihar area. Around 10 PM, two motorcycles collided near the Annapurna Mandir, causing one of the riders to fall onto the road. Tragically, the fallen rider was then run over by an unidentified vehicle that sped away from the scene.
Police arrived to find the 41-year-old victim, Pramod Sharma of Swaroop Nagar Extension, lying in a pool of blood. He was rushed to GTB Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him and declared him brought dead. The other motorcycle rider fled the scene immediately after the accident.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, analyzing CCTV footage in an effort to trace the unidentified vehicle that struck and killed Sharma, as well as the other motorcyclist involved. A case has been registered at the Sonia Vihar police station, and police are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice.
