A serious traffic collision occurred in Mission Valley East on Friday night, leaving a 33-year-old motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. The incident took place around 8:40 p.m. on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard as the motorcyclist was riding between lanes.
A 49-year-old driver in a 2014 Nissan Sentra was attempting an unlawful left turn into a shopping center when the collision happened. The motorcyclist sustained multiple facial lacerations and brain bleeds, requiring CPR at the scene.
