Monkey Attack Near Taj Mahal: Tourist Hospitalized

A South Korean tourist, 36-year-old Kim Mihye, suffered a monkey bite near the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal on Sunday. The incident occurred as she and her husband were collecting complimentary items for foreign visitors.
Following the bite on her elbow, which caused bleeding, CISF personnel immediately called for an ambulance. However, the ambulance allegedly took about an hour to arrive. Consequently, the injured tourist received initial first aid at the monument's health center.
Due to the prolonged delay, officials arranged for an e-rickshaw to transport Kim Mihye to a private hospital for further treatment. The Archaeological Survey of India has lodged a complaint with the Chief Medical Officer in Agra concerning the delayed medical response.
