Married Couple Vanishes in Remote Australian Outback

In a concerning development, a married couple has gone missing in the remote Finke Gorge National Park in central Australia. Alex, 64, and Marisol, 58, were last seen on November 13, 2025, in the park's popular tourist spot, Palm Valley. The pair were traveling in a silver Isuzu D-Max, with a grey Jayco J-POD caravan, but have not been heard from since November 10, when their family last received photos from them.

Northern Territory Police have launched an urgent search for the couple, pleading for the public's assistance. The remote national park, located 138km west of Alice Springs, is only accessible by four-wheel drive, making the search efforts more challenging. While park rangers are scouring the Finke Gorge National Park, officers from nearby towns are conducting road patrols to try and locate the missing couple.

With a week having passed since their last contact, authorities are growing increasingly concerned for Alex and Marisol's wellbeing. The couple were reportedly traveling to Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, but they never checked in. Police have tried to reach the couple's mobile phones, but both are currently off or out of range, further adding to the mystery surrounding their disappearance.
