A man's pursuit of social media fame led to severe injuries after a dangerous stunt at Jhansi's Pahuj Dam. The 38-year-old, identified as Pushpendra, jumped from a height of about 30 feet into the dam. He intended to capture a dramatic reel, but the water level was dangerously low, causing him to land on rocks.
Pushpendra sustained fractures in both legs and struggled to stay afloat. Bystanders noticed his distress and pulled him from the water. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors confirmed the fractures. A metal rod has been implanted in one leg, with surgery planned for the other. Disturbingly, a video shows his friends filming the stunt, with one making a grim joke just before the jump.
