An 11-year-old girl has sadly passed away following a collision with a car in Lambeth, south London, on December 12. The incident occurred at approximately 12:50 PM at the intersection of Garrad's Road and Tooting Bec Road. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene and provided treatment to the child.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, the young girl succumbed to her injuries on January 5. A 54-year-old male driver was apprehended at the scene by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He was subsequently released on bail pending further investigation.
