London Boy Critical After Scooter Hit by Car

A young boy is in critical condition in hospital after being involved in a serious road traffic incident on Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, London. The 10-year-old boy was reportedly hit by a car while crossing the road on his scooter. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 am on Sunday, January 25.
Metropolitan Police have arrested a 28-year-old driver on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The driver stopped at the scene and has since been interviewed under caution and subsequently released on bail. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance provided treatment at the scene.
Investigators are urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist their inquiry. They are particularly interested in obtaining video footage of a black Volkswagen Golf GTI that was involved in the collision. Any recordings from the period between 8:15 am and 8:35 am on Sunday, January 25, are considered potentially valuable.
