Loco Pilot Halts Train, Saves Desperate Farmer from Tragedy

In a dramatic incident that unfolded on October 31, 2025, a loco pilot's quick thinking and swift action prevented a tragic accident on the Delhi-Howrah rail route in Auraiya district. The train, traveling from the Etawah side, was approaching Achhalda railway station when the loco pilot spotted a man standing on the tracks. Immediately, the loco pilot brought the train to a halt, averting a potential disaster.
The station master at Achhalda railway station was promptly informed about the incident, and he immediately alerted the Railway Protection Force (RPF). RPF personnel Rakesh Kumar and Ajay Chauhan rushed to the scene and persuaded the man to move away from the tracks. During questioning, the man was identified as Updesh Kumar, a resident of Gurkhunda village in the Bidhuna police station area.
