A leopard entered a liquor shop in Todaraisingh town, Rajasthan, on Monday shortly after it opened, attacking two employees. The men managed to escape and lock the animal inside the shop.
The leopard had previously injured a forest volunteer near a forest outpost. Leopard sightings had been reported in the area for several days.
CCTV footage shows the leopard's aggressive entry and attacks within the shop. The injured salesman was referred for further treatment, while the other employee received first aid.
Forest officials and a specialized team from Jaipur Zoo were called to tranquilize and capture the animal. Police were deployed to manage the crowd that had gathered outside the shop.
