Leopard Attack Claims Young Life in Village

A devastating leopard attack in Vajpur village of Chhota Udepur district has resulted in the tragic death of a four-year-old girl. The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the child, Bhavya Rathwa, was playing near her home. A leopard emerged unexpectedly and attacked the child, causing fatal injuries to her neck. Despite immediate efforts to rush her to a clinic, doctors pronounced her dead. Forest officials responded promptly, setting up a cage in the village. A leopard was apprehended the following day, and authorities are working to confirm if it is the same animal involved in the attack. The process to provide compensation to the grieving family has commenced.
