Law Student Injured in Wrong-Way Dumper Crash

A law student, Krish Goenka, was injured on Friday morning after his SUV was struck by an overloaded dumper truck. The incident occurred near Mount Carmel School in Sector 114 as Goenka was driving from Bajghera towards his father's office.
Goenka alleges the dumper was traveling at approximately 70 km/h on the wrong side of the road and exhibited a registration number that was unclear. He also claimed the dumper appeared to be driven under the influence of intoxicants, and it lacked rear taillights.
Following the collision, which caused significant damage to his vehicle, the dumper driver fled the scene, abandoning the truck. Goenka was taken to a hospital in Dwarka Sector-12, New Delhi, where he received medical attention for chest pain and breathing difficulties.
Authorities have registered a case against the dumper driver under various sections of the BNS and the Motor Vehicles Act. Police are currently making efforts to locate the driver and the truck.
