Kullu Jeep Mishap: Two Dead, Three Injured in Festival Tragedy

Tragedy struck Kullu district in the early hours of Sunday when a jeep carrying five youths plummeted off a hilly road near Jana village. The incident resulted in the deaths of two young men, identified as Avinash, 20, and Sonam Kumar, 23, both from Saur village. The group was returning from a Fagli festival celebration in Jana village when the accident occurred.
Avinash, who was driving, allegedly lost control of the vehicle near Jana waterfall. The jeep tumbled approximately 100 meters down the slope. Local villagers discovered the vehicle and its occupants, but Avinash and Sonam had already succumbed to their injuries by the time help arrived.
The three injured individuals, Hemraj, Vivek, and Vijay, were promptly transported to the Kullu regional hospital. According to police, their conditions are stable and they are currently receiving medical care. An investigation into the exact cause of the accident is underway.
