The incident prompted an immediate evacuation of patients and staff, as plumes of smoke became visible from kilometers away. Fortunately, the fire started in a section under construction, minimizing immediate patient risk.
Five fire brigade units were dispatched to the scene, initiating rapid rescue and firefighting operations. Eyewitnesses reported the suddenness of the blaze and the swift notification of hospital authorities. While patients on the eighth floor were relocated, the primary focus was on containing the fire and ensuring everyone's safety.
Through considerable effort, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. The hospital administration stated that other areas remained unaffected. An official investigation has since been launched to determine the precise cause of the accidental fire.
