Summary
- Father and daughter electrocuted removing branches from car.
- Elderly woman died after a palm tree fell on her home.
- Rain-related deaths in Hyderabad have reached five in one week.

Overnight rains and strong winds have claimed three additional lives in Hyderabad, escalating the city's monsoon-related death toll to five in less than a week. The recent fatalities follow two deaths from electrocution on June 9th due to snapped power lines.
In Alwal, Ch Sandeep, 44, and his 16-year-old daughter Preethika died from electrocution early Saturday morning. Fallen tree branches had landed on their car, and while attempting to move it, they came into contact with a live snapped electric wire.
Separately, in Meerpet, 75-year-old Sabhavath Laxmi passed away on Friday night when a palm tree collapsed onto her home during a storm. Efforts to save her were unsuccessful.
Authorities have registered cases for both incidents, investigating the suspicious deaths. These events underscore the severe risks associated with extreme weather during the monsoon season.
