Six members of a family, including three children, tragically lost their lives on Friday when their car collided with a truck parked illegally on the Outer Ring Road near Thondapalli village in Shamshabad. The family was on their way back to Hyderabad after visiting the Yadagirigutta temple.
Tragically, a 35-year-old woman is currently battling for her life in the hospital following the severe crash. The deceased were identified as B Shiva Kumar, his wife R Rajeshwari, their daughter B Rishitha, Shiva Kumar's brother-in-law K Srinivas, and Srinivas's two sons, Krishna Chandra and K Madhav. All occupants of the car were killed instantly upon impact.
Authorities suspect that driver fatigue may have contributed to the accident, as the family had started their journey early that morning. The truck driver stated he had stopped to adjust loose ropes on his load of rice bags, which were destined for Kurnool. A case has been registered against the truck driver for the unauthorized parking that led to this horrific incident.
