The recent Holi celebrations were marred by tragedy, with at least eight individuals losing their lives and over 300 sustaining injuries. A significant number of these incidents were linked to road accidents, largely attributed to drunk driving and overspeeding. Multiple government hospitals reported a substantial influx of patients within a single day.
King George's Medical University (KGMU) and Lok Bandhu Raj Narain (LBRN) Hospital recorded fatalities, while Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (Civil) Hospital treated the highest number of patients.
