A Haryana Roadways bus traveling from Mandi Kalan village to Jind overturned near the Mohangarh-Khatkar T-point on Friday, resulting in injuries to fifteen passengers. Approximately fifty passengers were on board when the bus veered into nearby fields.
The accident occurred when the bus driver, Amarjeet, attempted to avoid a car that abruptly entered his lane. Reports suggest the car driver may have been trying to evade a toll payment. Following the incident, the car driver fled the scene, leaving behind the distressed passengers.
Emergency services, including ambulances, promptly arrived to assist. The injured were transported to the Civil Hospital in Jind, where they received treatment for minor injuries and were subsequently discharged. Local residents and travelers in nearby vehicles also aided in the rescue efforts.
