A devastating road accident on Link Road near Karanpur village in Jhalawar district on Friday claimed the lives of four laborers. The victims, Naresh Meena (20), Khemraj Meena (35), Lachiram Meena (23), and Rajpal Singh Rajput (30), were traveling together on a single motorbike when an SUV struck them head-on.
The impact of the collision was so intense that the motorbike was destroyed, and all four individuals sustained fatal injuries. Police were alerted to the incident and quickly transported the injured to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV was apprehended at the scene, and the vehicle was impounded. Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the driver under relevant sections of the law. Following post-mortem examinations on Saturday, the bodies were released to the families of the deceased. Further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
