A luxurious 112-foot Westport motor yacht, 'The Determination,' recently experienced a significant incident while being towed on Fort Lauderdale's New River. This collision resulted in substantial damage to the dock's support pilings and the pump station's roof. A nearby two-story building along the Riverwalk also sustained damage from the impact.
Witnesses reported the tow boat was moving at an unusually high speed. Fortunately, all individuals aboard the yacht and the tow boat managed to disembark safely before the collision occurred.
