Emergency services have successfully extinguished a fire that impacted multiple heavy goods vehicles in the Harbour View Area of Methil, Fife. The blaze, which began Sunday morning, was contained by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) with seven appliances attending the scene.
There were no reports of any casualties resulting from the fire. Police Scotland investigated the incident and determined that no criminality was established. The SFRS confirmed their last appliance departed the scene by early afternoon.
The area between Harbour View and South Street has since been reopened to the public, and residents nearby have been advised that the smoke risk has concluded, allowing them to open windows.
