On the evening of October 5th, 2025, a fiery collision occurred on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan, India. A truck carrying LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders collided with another vehicle near the Dudu area, triggering a series of powerful explosions as the gas cylinders burst.
The impact of the crash sent flames and shockwaves across the busy stretch of highway, with the blaze and loud explosions visible and audible from several kilometers away. Police personnel and fire brigades rushed to the scene, halting traffic on both sides of the road as they worked to contain the situation.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma immediately directed the Deputy Chief Minister and a local MLA to visit the site and assess the damage. The Jaipur District Collector and other senior officials also headed to the location to oversee the rescue and firefighting operations, which continued late into the night.
According to the authorities, the truck carrying the LPG cylinders was struck from behind by another vehicle, causing the initial accident. While there have been no reports of casualties, the fire has caused significant disruption and damage to the surrounding area.
