A fatal road accident in Jharkhand's Sahibganj district has claimed one life and left six others injured. The incident happened near Shampur village on the Borio-Boarijor main road when a speeding SUV's tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control.
The vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a deep ditch, leading to the death of the driver, identified as Shakti Mirdha. The passengers, all residents of Godda district, were traveling to Rajmhal in Sahibganj for a shradh ceremony.
Six individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the Borio community health centre for medical attention. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
