Tragedy struck Nalanda district on Saturday night when a speeding vehicle fatally impacted a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of a father and his young daughter. The vehicle was traveling from Meyar village towards Tarauna village to visit his wife, who serves as a police constable.
The collision occurred near Pariyona village, where an unidentified speeding vehicle rammed into the motorcycle head-on. The force of the impact completely destroyed the motorcycle, and the father and his three-year-old daughter were pronounced dead at the scene. Their eight-year-old son, who was also on the motorcycle, sustained injuries and was rushed to Biharsharif Model Hospital.
Local police, led by Noorsarai SHO Arvind Kumar, responded swiftly to the incident, ensuring the injured son received prompt medical attention. After the post-mortem examinations, the bodies of the deceased were released to their family. Authorities have launched a search for the driver of the vehicle involved in the fatal accident.
